Red Rooster ordering kiosks with circular floor graphics and QR codes

How Red Rooster Used Floor Graphics and Kiosk Headers to Direct Customers In-Store

October 07, 2026•3 min read

When a national quick-service brand needs customers to order at the kiosk or on the app, the message has to sit exactly where people stand. Floor graphics and kiosk headers do that job quietly and every day.

A former ICPrint client who now works at Red Rooster came back to us with a clear brief: a custom-size floor graphic and matching kiosk header graphics, produced for multiple stores across Australia, on a tight deadline.

The brief

Red Rooster needed print that would:

  • Direct customers to order at the kiosks or via the app

  • Carry a QR code so guests could open the app from the floor

  • Match brand colour and logo exactly

  • Fit a custom size that off-the-shelf templates wouldn’t cover

  • Ship to multiple locations Australia-wide, on a short turnaround

The two circular floor decals in each store sit directly in front of the ordering kiosks. Each one carries the Red Rooster logo, a clear “Order Now at the kiosks or the app” message, and a large QR code. Above the kiosks, red header graphics read “Order Now — Card Only”, so the instruction is visible before a guest even looks at the screen.

Why floor graphics work in QSR

In a busy restaurant, wall posters compete with menu boards, screens and people. Floor graphics sit in the one place every customer looks: the path to the counter.

For a brand rolling out self-order kiosks, that matters. The graphic:

  • Stops guests short of an empty counter and points them to the kiosk

  • Puts a scannable QR code at foot level, where phones are already out

  • Reinforces “card only” and app ordering without staff having to repeat it

  • Stays on brand across every store, so the experience feels the same nationwide

Paired with the kiosk header, the whole zone becomes a clear order path: look down, look up, touch to order.

Custom size, multiple sites, tight deadline

The hard part of a job like this usually isn’t the print itself. It’s getting a custom size right, keeping colour consistent across a batch, and getting the right quantity to the right stores before the in-store deadline.

That’s the work ICPrint took on. Because we source each job from the production partner best suited to the specification — rather than forcing every job through one factory — a multi-site floor-graphic and header run with a short lead time is a normal brief for us, not a special case.

You deal with us. We deal with the factories. One quote, one point of contact, and one team accountable for the finished result in every store.

What this means if you run multi-site print

If you manage branding for a franchise group, a retail chain or a QSR network, jobs like this come up often:

  • Floor graphics and wayfinding for a kiosk or app rollout

  • Header and fascia graphics for new equipment

  • Window, counter and wall vinyl for a seasonal campaign

  • The same artwork, cut and finished to slightly different sizes per store

The brief is rarely “print 500 of the same thing”. It’s “print the right thing for each site, on time, and keep it looking identical”.

That’s the work ICPrint is set up for.
