I was having a conversation with Luke, he asked "I wonder how much Lube Mobile spent on investing in their branding?"
Then the little jingle popped into my head and I sang it out loud in the car (beautifully executed of course)...

"Lube Mobile will come to you... Call 13 30 32!"

We both just smiled. Luke mentioned he most likely uses Lube Mobile because he remembers watching their TV ad's growing up. They've always remained 'top of mind' for him and I guess for me. They are so ingrained in our subconscious it's incredible!

So... WOW! After all these years I still know Lube Mobile's number off the top off my head!
Effective branding or what?!

I actually don't remember the last time I saw a Lube Mobile ad BUT Lube Mobile are still the first that come to mind. I find that absolutely amazing!
In the early days... Lube Mobile branded themselves as 'the guys to go to' and people still remember them because of it.

It's important to have a long-term perspective when it comes to investing in your branding or anything really. You can't just invest time and money one day and expect a massive return on investment the next. Investing can take time.
